Production
Our Business Case
Alternative high-quality production of fish meal from insect breeding with simultaneous utilization of biomass residues, like food, beer rests, biological waste materials. Fly larvae are fed for one week in climatic boxes with biological residues, such as by-products from agriculture, and then processed into flour and pellets. The byproducts compost and oils produce valuable products
Production process
For the purposeful "Upcycling" of proteins to a high-quality feed we use the larva of the black soldier fly. We breed larvae from the fly, which form the basis and part of the protein-rich feed.
For this purpose, we exclusively use high-quality organic food and biomass residues from industry and agriculture, and at the same time combine useful recycling processes in the lead-up to animal
feed production. We guarantee the stable technology process and thus the exclusion of any possible pollutants. The animal feed is 100% high quality organic protein.
No additional heat sources are used for the production of our fly larvae. Thus, the production process is environmentally friendly. The land use in the breeding of the black soldier fly is extremely
efficient. On one m², up to one ton of insect protein per year can be produced.
Production is divided into two separate areas: fly and larvae breeding. Both areas are supervised by experts from the research, agriculture and process technology.
